These regulations form part of the binding agreement between you and Zamcab when you register as a driver.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid Zambian driver's licence, and operate a roadworthy vehicle that meets Zamcab's requirements. You confirm that all information provided during registration is true and complete.
2. Account & Access
Your driver account is personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Zamcab may suspend or terminate access for fraud, breach of these terms, or safety risks.
3. Use of the Platform
You agree to provide professional, courteous, and safe transport services, follow all traffic laws, and not discriminate against any passenger. You shall not use the platform for illegal purposes or attempt to interfere with Zamcab's systems.
4. Fares, Payments & Commission
Fares are calculated by Zamcab based on distance, time, vehicle category, and other factors. Zamcab deducts a commission from each fare and makes payouts according to its published policies.
5. Safety & Conduct
You must maintain your vehicle in a clean and roadworthy condition and not drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Serious safety violations may result in immediate suspension or termination.
6. Data & Privacy
You consent to Zamcab processing your personal and trip data as described in our Privacy Policy. You agree not to misuse customer data and to use it only for providing rides via Zamcab.
7. Intellectual Property
All rights in the Zamcab platform and branding remain with Zamcab. You receive no ownership rights by registering as a driver.
8. Liability & Indemnity
You are responsible for your conduct and compliance with all laws. To the extent permitted by law, Zamcab is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. You agree to indemnify Zamcab for claims arising from your breach or misconduct.
9. Suspension & Termination
Zamcab may suspend or terminate your driver account for breach of these terms, safety/legal reasons, or with/without cause subject to applicable law.
10. Changes to These Terms
Zamcab may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Zambia, unless otherwise required by law.
